Dr. Brislin grew up in Plainville, Massachusetts where she first recognized and developed her passion for the health care field and dentistry. Spending time with her father Dr. Ronald Ciombor in his dental office grew the desire to pursue dentistry as a career. Patients often comment at how similar her gentle chair side approach is to her father’s. She believes a healthy smile parallels a healthy individual and she does her best to instill this outlook in her patients. Dr. Brislin is a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Massachusetts where she ran track and played basketball. She went on to the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and earned a B.S. degree in psychology, with a pre-medical focus.
After college she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her doctorate in medical dentistry, graduating in the top eight percent of her class. This class rank prompted some to encourage her to pursue a dental specialty, however, her desire to work with families and develop long term patient relationships steered her decision to work with her father in his general and family practice. At Tufts University Dr. Brislin was the recipient of the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration award for excellence in clinical practice management. Additionally, she was inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which was established to promote and recognize scholarship and character among students of dentistry. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association and the Pawtucket Dental Society. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Christopher and their children.
I have worked in a dental office for over 20 years and started out as a receptionist for my dad, who was a dentist in Lincoln, RI, and have taken on many responsibilities as the years passed, so it feels natural to work in this setting. What I enjoy most is being part of a team and getting to know the patients and their families. I have lived in Bristol, RI my entire life with my 2 wonderful adult children and my amazing husband. During my spare time I love to do DIY projects and take care of all my animals, and I love to be boating on the water.
I have been working alongside Dr. Brislin since 2010! I started working as a dental assistant then decided to continue my education within the dental field as a dental hygienist. I graduated from Bristol Community College with an associates degree in Science in Dental Hygiene in 2018. While in school, I continued working with Dr. Brislin and upon graduating, I came back full time working as a hygienist. I knew that I did not want to work anywhere else! While working with Dr. Brislin, I have had the pleasure of building relationships with both existing and new patients, its the best part of the job! Dr. Brislin and I continue to believe that patient care is paramount and we make sure that everyone is treated with the best care. When I am not at the office, my husband Kyle and I love to spend time with family and friends!
I’ve been a dental hygienist for over 29 years. I grew up in Pawtucket and received my degree from CCRI. I worked for Dr. Brislin part time for over 4 years and was excited to be given a full time position in October. As a former resident of Pawtucket, it is nice to be reunited with past acquaintances and meeting new patients. After being in the dental field for so many years, I am excited to work for a dentist who is committed to treating her patients with the best dental care possible. The entire office is constantly taking courses on current treatments and learning the newest technology. I finally feel I’m part of a team that not only wants to treat dental problems, but also what causes them. Outside this office which I consider my second home, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 teenage sons.
After graduating from the Lincoln Tech Dental Assisting program in December of 2019, I've had the pleasure of joining doctor Brislin and her amazing team! I have been here for almost a year now and I absolutely love it here and I love what I do. I love to help and learn all that I can. The best part of my job is seeing patients leave happy and very pleased with everything doctor Brislin does, from beautiful in office CEREC crowns, to Invisalign treatments and even in-office whitenings! When I am not in the office I enjoy being with my family and friends, I also enjoy tons of shopping!
I have been a chairside dental assistant for the last 18 years. I completed the dental assistant program at CCRI, graduating in 2004 with a Dental Assistants Certificate and certifications in radiology and infection control. My responsibilities at the office range from working chairside with Dr. Brislin, to preparing lab work, and everything in between! I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to be part of Dr. Brislin's team. Working chairside, my goal is to make patients feel comfortable and at ease at every visit. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, my fur babies, and working on home improvements.
After graduating dental assisting school at CCRI, I started working for Dr. Brislin in 2022. I’ve found myself at her office because I was a previous patient and noticed the positive relationships between the staff, patients and doctor. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks with my dog, and spending time with friends and family.
